VMC operator — Umuahia North

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Umuahia North, Abia State. Day to day you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
