Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Six days a week, one day off.
