Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Hood County, Texas. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches You will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances.
