Foundry worker wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Montgomery County, Georgia. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
