Occupational health and safety officer — Cheyenne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Cheyenne County, Colorado. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Full-time, day shift.
