Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
