Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Prentiss County, Mississippi. You will be based at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Rotating shifts.
