Stainless steel welder • Lemhi County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lemhi County, Idaho. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
