Smash repairer — Chatham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a smash repairer in Chatham County, North Carolina. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
