Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Mississippi County, Missouri. The job is at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 3+ years on the tools preferred.
