Tig welder • Mason County, West Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Mason County, West Virginia. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
