Immediate opening: we are hiring a body shop technician in Ontonagon County, Michigan. You will work at an accident repair garage. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
