Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Dodge County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
