What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
