Great opportunity: counter butcher (North Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Burleigh County, North Dakota. Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
