GMAW welder • Lincoln County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Lincoln County, Arkansas. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
