Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Grundy County, Illinois. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. You should have: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Willing to travel between sites You will fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
