Gas commissioning technician — Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Jefferson County, Montana. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
