Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Whiteside County, Illinois. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage.
