Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Loudon County, Tennessee. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
