Vacancy available: sewing machine operator (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Charles Mix County, South Dakota. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
