Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Dickinson County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
