Gas metal arc welder — Amite County

What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
