Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
