We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
