Panel welder wanted in Oldham County

On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
