Join our team: we are hiring a press shop operator in Ona Ara, Oyo State. The job is at an auto components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Full-time with occasional weekends.
