Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Taliaferro County, Georgia. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
