Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
