GTAW welder • Benson County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Benson County, North Dakota. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Rotating shifts.
