Concrete placer wanted in Northumberland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Northumberland, England. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
