Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Newton County, Indiana. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
