Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Madison County, Ohio. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 5+ years on the tools preferred.
