Now hiring: lifting rigger (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Phillips County, Colorado. You will work on a high-rise building site. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
