Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass fitter in Plymouth, England. Your main tasks: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders Requirements: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Own basic hand tools an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
