Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Kings County, New York. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On a typical shift you will season and marinate meat on request; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
