Great opportunity: tig welder (Kwara State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Ilorin South, Kwara State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 5+ years on the tools preferred.
