Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Collin County, Texas. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred.
