Garment machinist wanted in Mangu

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Mangu, Plateau State. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet.
