Urgent requirement: EHS coordinator (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Crawford County, Iowa. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
