Now hiring: we are hiring a marble cutter in Galveston County, Texas. You will be based on a residential building site. The role involves shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
