Great opportunity: ladle pourer (West Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Calhoun County, West Virginia. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
