Join our team: we are hiring an electrician in Swisher County, Texas. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. On the job you will handle: • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop What we are looking for: • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
