Machinist • Kent County, Delaware

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Kent County, Delaware. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
