Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
