Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Dillon County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
