Urgent requirement: safety officer (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Reno County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
