Press machine operator — Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland. You will be based on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
