Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Emmet County, Michigan. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
