Heavy equipment operator • Jasper County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Jasper County, Mississippi. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Overtime paid at a premium rate.
